Short language courses

In addition to our range of undergraduate degree and postgraduate qualification programmes, the School runs a number of short courses for a variety of audiences.

The full range of courses on offer is as follows:

Modern Languages

Languages for All - Evening and Lunchtime language classes open to students, staff and the general public.

UWLP - Language modules available for some Undergraduate and Postgraduate Research students.

English as a Foreign Language

English Language Programmes run all year round for international students that wish to improve their English. They are designed to improve your skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking and will help you with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

In addition to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in translation and interpreting, the School of Languages offers a range of short courses in continuing professional development aimed at students considering careers in translation and/or interpreting, freelancers and companies.
