Steps towards your PhD

 

Supervisory team

You will be assigned a supervisory team consisting of your supervisor, co-supervisor and personal tutor.

 

Learning Agreement

Full-time students will complete a Learning Agreement within 3 months, while part-time students complete this within 6 months. This sets out your aims, your responsibilities, your supervisors’ responsibilities and your training requirements. 

 

Assessment

Annual Assessment and Self Evaluation: Full-time students: this is completed every 12 months

Interim Assessment: Full-time students complete their interim assessment after 15 months. Part-time students complete theirs after 24 – 30 months.

Internal Assessment: You are expected to submit a sample chapter for this assessment.
